This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Crumlin.
Role Overview:
The role of the Procurement Professional is to perform activities to enable the business to realise its commitments to customers. You must be a skilled relationship manager, and able to demonstrate experience of procuring raw materials and ‘buy for resale items’ to support manufacturing demand.
Role Requirements
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. You will be fully responsible for managing purchase price variation, OTIF delivery performance and risk mitigation for the spend portfolio, developing action plans that drive improvement and business profitability, ensuring customer orders are delivered on time, every time.
2. To work in collaboration with contract service leader supporting new product/project development initiatives, identifying new sources of supply opportunities, and supporting actions to validate these new sources of supply.
3. Your role is that of an enabler, supporting risk mitigation and change of control processes to support launching new products to market.
4. To attend the monthly procurement team review reporting summary of portfolio progress against PPV and Supplier OTIF driven actions and initiatives.
5. Lead supplier quarterly business reviews, build supplier relationships, driving improvements, and ensuring products are procured at the most economically advantageous cost.
6. Working with supply chain to ensure compliance management of import/export regulation requirements and accountabilities.
7. Raise and process purchase orders for ‘buy for resale’ antibodies.
8. Supplier selection, driving competition using RFQs, RFIs, ITTs.
9. Raw Materials and ‘buy for resale’.
10. Manage Procurement KPIs, taking appropriate action where required.
11. Developing and maintaining the approved vendor list.
12. Compliance management of import regulation requirements and accountabilities.
13. Identify and input into the management of supplier risk.
14. Negotiation of costs against supplier forecast to enable cost savings in line with PPV process.
15. Supplier Performance Monitoring and Monthly reviews of data.
16. Support implementation and review of Supply Agreement and Contracts.
17. Routinely monitor critical and overdue POs and provide feedback to operations.
18. Resolve any issues with supplier deliveries, including replacement/refund for damaged goods and incorrect goods delivered.
19. Collaborate with other members of the team to routinely review raw materials on site, including current stocks, past usage history, planned future usage, supplier issues, open POs, etc.
20. Routinely review site disputed invoices report to proactively resolve issues and provide feedback and support to the Group Finance team.
21. Provide commentary for monthly Key Performance Indicators as required, particularly Supplier Performance measures.
