Support Worker
Location: Morpeth, Northumberland
Salary: £21,840 per annum (pro rata), & £500 Onboarding payment
Contract: Temporary to January 2026
Working hours: 30 hours per week

About Oaklea:
Oaklea’s Supported Living Project in Morpeth provides care and support to people with learning disabilities.
In your role, you will support customers with a wide variety of needs and aspirations and work with our organisational values as we strive to encourage independence.
Support Worker – The Role:
You will be required to support male adults in their home who require support with personal care, meal preparation, accessing their local community and support with hobbies and appointments. Therefore, the applicant must be able to drive and have a clean licence.
Come and join a team on a new adventure of supported living with people of differing abilities, who love being active and are looking for new ways to be involved in their community and have fun. You will be required to work closely with a small team.
You must be confident in communicating with people who may have challenges communicating with you. Working hours will include days, sleep ins, and weekends.
