Job summary We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic person to support the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team. This post is based at Westgate House, Hillside Health Centre, Skelmersdale. The post is 37.5 hours per week and is a permanent post within the team. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Qualifications needed: NVQ level 3 administrative qualification or equivalent experience, RSA 2 or equivalent, ECDL or equivalent experience. This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join a community based children's mental health service and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This team includes psychological therapists, nurses and psychiatrists. You must be able to provide efficient administrative support and have excellent IT, keyboard and data inputting skills. You will also require strong interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to organise your workload effectively. The work is varied, interesting and demanding and candidates need to be organised, flexible and reliable. We are looking for people who possess the ability to meet the demands of the service, and also to be able to communicate with a wide range of people, including patients, carers and health care professionals. Work Pattern: Full Time Hours/sessions per week: 37.5 hours per week Main duties of the job The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service and coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided. The post holder will be aligned to a specific clinical team and is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the service providing cover to other teams on various sites as directed by the Team Leader in liaison with Locality Admin Co-ordinator to ensure continuity of a quality service. Receive allocate and despatch internal /external mail in line with the Trust policy. To be the first point of contact for the unit/department providing a comprehensive customer service and enquiry provision to internal and external customers of the Trust.
