Our client based in central Liverpool (L3) are a young, innovative but established finance company, aiming at supporting entrepreneurs and SMEs to access funds needed for growth.

Due to rapid growth, they are looking for an Internal Sales Manager (ISM.) The purpose of this role is to ensure the timely processing of all finance enquiries and applications from inception to payout. As an ISM you will be required to deliver high service standards to both introducers and customers, offering best customer outcomes and an efficient service. They operate predominantly in the Transport & Haulage, Manufacturing, Machinery and Plant sectors.
Internal Sales Manager responsibilities include but not limited to:
Prospecting and updating customer database, identifying any further requirements for customers and building relationships, whilst securing new business whilst diarising future contact.
Building and maintaining relationships with established and new customers to increase business into the Company and grow the department.
Working as part of the department and working to meet and exceed personal and departmental goals.
Liaising with lenders, customers and suppliers to ensure best customer outcomes and high service standards are met.
Contacting customers to obtain any financial documentation for underwriting.
Raising quotations from lenders, documenting correctly and quoting customer.
Obtaining any ancillary documentation or information that may be required to process an application.
Reviewing financial documentation received and processing application to the appropriate funder.
Timely processing of all applications.
Ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and in a timely manner
Contact with the underwriting and lender support teams to ensure service standards are being met.
Ensure all tasks are completed and delivered in line with agreed deadlines and service standards.
Attend training courses that are identified to assist in personal and role development.
Reviewing all business declines to ensure best outcome was achieved or whether there may be another avenue we can offer.
Review any not taken up acceptances, position solution to improve customer retention.
Designated contact for customers providing any additional support or help.
Qualifications & skill set
- Previous experience working in B2B sales with a new business focus from lead generation through to deal management and then ongoing relationship management of that account
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer centric and excited to go above and beyond for customer satisfaction
- Either minimum 3 years experience or recent business graduate with sales experience
What you'll get in return
- Base salary between £30,000-£35,000 with an OTE of £50,000-£55,000
