We have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager to join our person-centred services in Plymouth on a full time basis. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a management position! As a role model for the services and our Support Workers, you will be encouraging the team to be involved in the lives and hobbies of those that we support. The role is all about being passionate about what we can do to change a mundane day into an exceptional day - both for the team and the people we support. You will be supporting the Service Manager in the continued smooth operation of these services by undertaking agreed management tasks. In addition, you may be required to work shifts at the service from time to time. Furthermore, you will need to act as a role model, representing the service positively and demonstrating good practice to other members of the team. To be considered for this role, experience as a Support Worker is preferable, as it is important to have an understanding of how a service is run. Competency in using IT skills is also required, as a lot of tasks may be computer based. We are looking for someone who's passionate, trustworthy and forward thinking and lives by our five key values on a daily basis, and who will also bring some fresh and new ideas to the team! Strong leadership is key to the success of our services. We want to recruit leaders who can demonstrate they have the potential to excel within our team orientated workplace.
