Executive Assistant – Investment Banking
Temp to perm - Near St Pauls & Farringdon
£22 - £26 per hour
8:30am- 5:30pm

My client, a leading global investment bank with stunning offices in London, is looking for an Assistant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within Financial Services. This role sits within a critical division of the bank in terms of safeguarding the assets of the firm and will support across levels, while also providing general admin support to the wider team.
This division is ideal for an experienced, well-organised, and hardworking Assistant with an understanding of the financial markets. In return, there may be scope, in time, to get involved in project management and other initiatives within the company.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. MD level support, with wider support to the EMEA team including Analysts, Associates and VPs
2. Diary and calendar management
3. Coordinating and scheduling meetings and conference calls across multiple time zones
4. Coordinating travel arrangements for the team including visa applications, international flights, and accommodation bookings
5. Expense management and preparation in Concur
6. Managing high volume of phone calls and emails, relaying information in a timely and accurate manner
7. Coordinating room bookings for internal/external meetings and VCs across multiple locations
8. Updating and maintaining internal office systems
9. Booking events
10. Working with the other Assistants to help onboard new hires
11. Taking on ad hoc tasks while maintaining workflow
12. Providing phone/holiday coverage
WHO YOU ARE:
1. Minimum 3 years' experience in financial services, of which 2 years of direct experience as either a Personal Assistant or Administrative Assistant, preferably within Banking
2. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
3. Professional, positive, can-do attitude to work
4. Strong communication, excellent telephone manner
5. Ability to be proactive, use initiative, multi-task, and prioritise
6. Team player with experience of working in a large team with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
7. High level of discretion/confidentiality when handling sensitive and confidential information
8. Ability to work with different time zones including the Americas, EMEA, and Asia
