We are looking to appoint a Research Assistant to join the research group led by Professor Dylan Childs. The successful
applicant will provide support for a computational project investigating the role of demographic constraints in comparative
analyses.
The successful candidate will parameterise vital rate models using R and build and analyse the matrix and integral population
models. In addition, you will conduct comparative analyses across multi-population datasets, contributing to understanding
demographic patterns and processes.
Applicants must have a BSc or MSc (or equivalent experience) in a relevant biological discipline such as Ecology or
Environmental Science. Experience in bio-demographic modelling, ecological statistics and advanced R programming are also
essential.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions
complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research,
teaching and student experience.
