Hiring Now: Office Administrator – Construction Sector
£14.57 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Chorley, PR6 (Office-based)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Start Date: ASAP – ideally this week
Contract: Temp to perm – 3-month temp contract, with the opportunity to go permanent after 3 months (subject to mutual agreement)
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive Office Administrator with a strong customer focus to join a small but busy office in the construction sector. If you thrive in a role where you’re on the phones a lot, have excellent communication skills, and can handle tasks independently, this could be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
* Handling customer calls – strong telephone skills required
* Raising purchase orders
* Using Xero (experience preferred but not essential)
* General admin duties to support the team
Ideal Candidate
* Background in the construction sector (preferred)
* Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Organised and detail-oriented
* Comfortable working in a small team
