Job role: Teaching Assistant wanted for 1:1 role in Key Stage 1

Teaching Assistant to support the classroom teacher as a class TA and also to facilitate the active participation of 1 high needs child.
What skills and experience we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be:
* Confident leading small groups and targeted interventions in a range of year groups
* Fully committed to the role of working alongside a pupil with Additional Needs
* Experienced in working with children with Special Educational Needs.
* Experienced in supporting children with emotional regulation difficulties
* Experienced at supporting children in developing their social interaction and social communication skills
* Experienced in helping children to understand risk and how to keep themselves safe
* Experienced in working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
* Motivated, energetic and has a flexible and innovative approach to learning
* Passionate about providing the best opportunities possible for our children
* Committed to working as part of a hard-working and dedicated team
* Flexible and adaptable
* Calm and patient
* Organised and efficient

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
