Are you an experienced 2nd Line Application Engineer looking to take a step up into a lead role? We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Application Engineer to join a growing business in the North East to address complex issues and act as an SME to the wider business. What you’ll be doing: Provide advanced technical support for internal and external applications, acting as a subject matter expert, addressing complex issues escalated from the 1st Line Support team. Manage user access, permission and application configuration changes across bespoke and off the shelf applications. Act as the technical lead in major incident management driving rapid resolution and fostering a continuous improvement and automation environment. What you’ll bring: Proven experience acting in a senior/lead capacity for 2nd line application support. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset to tackle complex problems. Knowledge of AD / Azure / SQL. A passion for support and engaging with the wider business to resolve and improve end user experience.
