Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers
Location: Clapham, Greater London, England
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £140 - £220 per day
Job Duties:
* Design and deliver engaging lessons for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
* Collaborate with support staff and parents to create a supportive learning environment
* Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
* Provide feedback to students, parents, and school leadership on student progress and development
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience teaching students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of different learning styles and ability to differentiate instruction
* Ability to create inclusive and accessible learning materials
* Strong classroom management skills
* Proficient in using technology to support teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
* Training in specific interventions for students with SEN
Working Conditions:
* Work in a school setting with students with diverse learning needs
* Potential for additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities or student support programmes
* Regular collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
