What the Job Involves This role involves managing temporary accommodation accounts, ensuring efficient collection of rent and service charges, aiding in housing benefit applications, and addressing income collection queries. You will engage with clients at various stages of arrears, represent the council at possession hearings, coordinate evictions, and provide customer service. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with other departments and agencies to help customers maintain their tenancy, while keeping accurate records and understanding welfare benefits and housing legislation.
