Pyramid8 is recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join an ambitious team to generate sales and build relationships with lapsed or new clients. The role offers the opportunity to grow and develop in a sales position and meet clients face to face. With over 15 years of experience in the industry selling IT products and services into the Retail Sector, this is a new role in the team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team. There will be an opportunity to learn and develop; we are ideally looking for someone with experience in sales. The ability to make calls and be self-motivated and proactive is key.
You will primarily be working on a wide variety of client campaigns and new business with given leads, responsible for making calls, generating appointments and leads, sending emails, and updating records.
To be fully successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
* Excellent communication skills with a clear, confident telephone manner
* Experience in cold calling and dealing with incoming inquiries and leads
* Good IT skills and confidence in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
* Tenacity and a positive attitude
* Great attention to detail
* GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Previous experience in a sales calling role would be preferred, although not essential, as full training and support will be given. However, we expect the successful candidate to demonstrate a drive and passion for this type of role.
