The Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in handling projects from inception through to completion, primarily focusing on education and school buildings. With project values reaching up to £500,000, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct surveys, inspections, and assessments of school and education buildings.
* Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.
* Manage projects from feasibility through to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
* Work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
* Provide expert advice on building performance, compliance, and refurbishment.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is chartered (MRICS) or actively working towards chartership.
* Has experience in handling projects of a similar scope and value.
* Possesses excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Has a strong understanding of building regulations and best practices in education-sector construction.
