This multiple award-winning Christchurch civil contractor is considered to be an employer of choice. With aspirations to grow their business in a declining local market, the need has arisen for a Pre Construction Manager to join their team after losing a valued staff member overseas. In this role, you will report into the Commercial Manager and General Manager and be a key link as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
They are looking for a skilled Estimator capable of pricing a broad range of projects from $1 million to $30 million in Christchurch and Canterbury.
Ideally you will have:
* Estimating / tendering experience in civil infrastructure / contracting industry
* Strong commercial and contractual acumen
* Client relationship management experience and proven successful outcomes
* Experience with collaborating with suppliers and internal and external stakeholders
* Estimating software experience
* Business development and client contacts to sniff out future construction opportunities
You will work in a professional environment with like-minded professionals and interact with the General Manager, Commercial Manager, Construction Manager, Quantity Surveyors, and Divisional Managers.
