Enabling those they support to live their best possible lives through their extensive UK wide network of services, they are now looking to hire a Registered Manager (children's Autism) for a 4 Bed Bungalow in Birmingham as follows: Registered Manager qualified (level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare or equivalent) Based in Birmingham responsible for the day-to-day running and management of an Ofsted regulated 2x2 bungalow (4 bed facility). You will ensure that the service is fully compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements. safeguard and promote the welfare of all the young people supported, achieving the best outcomes for them. You will work in the home and lead by example to maintain a competent, motivated and confident staff team offering guidance and support at all levels. Provide goal orientated service provision tailored to the young people supported Manage the supervise a team of care staff including rota and staff coverage in the service. Provide on call support for the service as needed Ensure care is planned and delivered appropriately Oversee and implement personalised care plans for each young person focusing on individual needs and goals Ensure carer plans are regularly reviewed to keep them effective and relevant Promote and ensure the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of young people in the service Do audits and assessments to meet high standards of care delivery Be the Safeguarding lead in the service to ensure appropriate care is delivered by all. Build relationships with young people, families and staff and external stakeholders Collaborate with healthcare professionals and educational institutions as appropriate Manage the service budget effectively ensuring resources are used efficiently and responsibly Ensure maintenance and upkeep of the service premises Ensure regular updates for service users are logged on the care management system Nourish In addition to the above, the Registered Manager will have: Demonstrable experience in working with children with young people with Autism Service Team management experience Strong knowledge of legislation, regulations and best practice Knowledge and experience in therapeutic approaches for young people with Autism The successful Registered Manager can expect a starting salary around £55k Benefits with ongoing reviews and uplifts based on tenure and performance.
