The role projects play is key to us achieving this successfully, delivering innovative solutions to aid our development inline with the industry.
This role will put you directly at the heart of delivering key projects. You will be involved in a variety of activities across the Agency and Department, playing a key role in the smooth running of the portfolio & its projects. You’ll gain first-hand insight and experience of high-profile projects working closely with the business, Portfolio Assurance Team, Programme and Project Managers.
As an effective leader and communicator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our projects within your remit. This will require you to lead project meetings and manage plans, risks and issues. Drawing upon previous experience and your skills, you will ensure projects and other change activities are successfully delivered into the business. A role that promises variety, you will be working with our customers and the business to lead the development and delivery of the project/change to full implementation.
Being part of an international Agency, you will have an opportunity to learn new skills, working collaboratively with our UK and overseas offices. Travel between our Bristol and Nuneaton offices will be required, and occasional travel to other destinations may be necessary.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Agency projects within your remit. Your main duties will include but will not be limited to:
* Leading complex cross department projects & Programmes
* Managing project/programme teams, ensuring individual targets are met
* Identifying, mitigating and managing risks and issues
* Identify, justify and managing benefits delivery
* Developing innovative solutions to problems to maintain progress with delivery
* Stakeholder management & engagement
* Engaging with customers and trade groups to ensure proposed solutions meet industry requirements
* Negotiating with the VCA Leads to ensure solutions meet the business needs and provisions, running and managing new services in line with project milestones
* Reporting and presenting to the Portfolio Management Board
* Ensuring projects/change activities are successfully delivered into the business and working with customers and the business to lead the development and delivery of the project/change to full implementation.
