Position overview
The Visual Content Creator (Graphic Designer) is responsible for producing visually engaging and on-brand digital content across various platforms. This role combines creative design skills with content creation to develop multimedia materials, including social media posts, website visuals, marketing collateral, videos, and more. The individual will work closely with marketing, brand & communications, and business development teams to ensure that all content aligns with the company’s overall vision and brand voice, and resonates with target audiences.
Main job functions
- Content Creation – Work with copywriting and marketing to develop original visual content, including visual aspects of articles, blog posts, social media updates, videos, and other multimedia formats to engage and inform the audience.
- Graphic Design – Design visually appealing graphics, banners, infographics, and promotional materials for digital and print platforms, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Social Media Management – Collaborate with marketing team to create platform-specific content, including static images and videos, to enhance engagement and brand presence.
- Video Production – Create and edit video content for promotional, informational, or social media purposes, from storyboarding to final editing.
- Brand Alignment – Ensure all content and designs adhere to brand standards and convey the company’s messaging, tone, and visual identity.
- Collaboration – Work with marketing and brand & communications teams to understand content needs, campaign goals, and creative direction.
- Content Strategy Support – Contribute ideas to content calendars, marketing campaigns, and creative strategies to boost audience engagement and growth.
- Performance Analysis – Monitor content performance across various platforms and adjust strategies based on feedback and analytics.
Ideal candidate:
- Proven experience as a content creator or graphic designer, with a portfolio of creative work.
- Strong proficiency in graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing tools (e.g. Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Solid understanding of content marketing strategies and trends, including SEO and social media best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for content creation and collaboration.
