Homes and Neighbourhoods
The last three years have been busy for Home and Neighbourhoods. Since transferring into the Council, we have focused on our top priority – keeping our tenants safe.
The delivery of our vision is underpinned by our service strategy which places tenants at the heart of everything we do with investment plans that are focused on driving improvements in the tenants’ experience of our services, the safety of the homes our tenants live in and investment in the quality and sustainability of the housing stock.
Head of Housing Management & Partnerships
With our new investment strategy adopted by the Council’s Cabinet in March 2023, which is our vision for social housing in Kirklees, that will establish and deliver resident-led, high quality housing services. As the Head of Housing Management and Partnerships, you will provide inspirational and visionary leadership to a large team delivering excellent neighbourhood and tenancy services by ensuring tenants and communities come first. Facilitating greater coordinated working to deliver a best-in-class service. The role is responsible for developing and implementing relevant strategies such as tenant involvement and empowerment and working in partnership with internal services e.g. the in-house repairs and grounds maintenance contractors to drive service improvement.
This is an exciting time for Kirklees and a rewarding opportunity to join us and showcase your leadership, ambition and determination to deliver excellent housing services for the community we serve.
We are looking for someone who is professionally curious, a strong communicator who can engage with partners, stakeholders and tenants and provide a ‘world class’ service aligned to the corporate values of Kirklees Council.
