About Us We are looking for a positive, proactive, dynamic and creative manager to head up the marketing side of our team. No two days are the same, the work is extremely varied and provides an opportunity to market exciting projects both locally and nationally You’ll be responsible for the management of a small team and overseeing the marketing of two key areas, our Heritage and Cultural services (including the Palace Theatre, National Civil War Centre and Newark Castle) as well as our commercial services (weddings, garden waste collection services and MOT servicing to name but a few). You’ll be required to set and meet ambitious sales targets using your initiative to ensure you put your own stamp on things. Ability to work in a planned and proactive way is key, but also being able to spin plates and react quickly is essential. There is a lot to market in Newark and Sherwood, from free activities to ticketed events and from multi-million-pound projects to heart-warming initiatives. The role is for 34 hours per week to either be worked over 5 days or 4 days, Monday to Thursday ideally, but flexibility is essential for this exciting role.
