Main duties of the job Successful candidates will work in our 24-bedded Critical Care department made up of 2 different areas - ICU and HDU, providing 24 hour care to level 2 and 3 patients. These will be a combination of medical and surgical critically ill patients. They will be part of the Critical Care team. They will look after the patients within Critical Care, become proficient in placing invasive lines and review referrals from ED, theatres and the wards. They will be treated just like the training doctors, will have an educational supervisor, have an e-portfolio and attend/contribute to weekly teaching.
