Reporting to the Head of HR, you’ll play a key part in delivering generalist HR advice – guiding managers on employee relations cases (end to end), supporting the HRBPs on projects, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate HR activities across the full employee lifecycle.
2. Provide expert HR advice, particularly in employee relations.
3. Coach managers to improve HR conversations and decision-making.
4. Support HR Business Partners, deputising when needed.
5. Contribute to ongoing HR process improvements and business insights.
Requirements:
1. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
2. Strong knowledge of UK employment law coupled with experience handling complex employee relation cases from end to end (essential).
3. Ability to analyse HR data and identify trends.
4. Effective communication and coaching skills.
5. Experience working within a structured HR team, ideally in a matrix organisation.
This role is hybrid working, with 2 days a week in North Bristol and 3 days home working.
