Job Description:
The Director of Housekeeping Operations is responsible for ensuring exceptional cleanliness and quality standards throughout the hotel. This role requires a strategic thinker who can optimize departmental performance, manage budgets, and maintain excellent relations with other operational departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure 100% compliance with brand standards and quality scores.
* Manage payroll, linen, and departmental costs in accordance with business demand and budget.
* Lead the housekeeping team, including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, training, and performance management.
* Schedule routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
* Supervise outside contractors to ensure contractual compliance.
* Monitor and review service standards to ensure consistency with Wyndham brand standards.
* Maintain health and safety compliance and ensure training records are up-to-date.
* Ensure departmental dress, hygiene, and uniform standards are met.
* Inspect guest and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
* Manage spring cleaning schedules and machinery maintenance.
* Maintain open channels of communication with other department heads and management teams.

Background:
* Minimum 1.5 years of experience as an Assistant Housekeeper Manager or Head Housekeeper in a hotel with 100 bedrooms or more.
* Experience in an international hotel brand is an advantage.
* Proficiency in the Opera PMS system.
* Good command of English.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Diploma or vocational training in hospitality is an advantage.
