The Role:
The Programme Support Officer will be responsible for providing expert and flexible project/programme support in delivery within the DSA Delivery Function – specifically for Metrics and DSA strategy workstreams. The DSA delivery function has projects of work including transformation and technical delivery which require support to in delivered via Agile methodology, using the MSPO tool or equivalent tools to monitor progress and manage RAID.
Responsibilities:
Manage project controls, keeping the project / programme management aware of the project status. Prepare project performance reports, presenting statistics and researching new information.
Manage professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders via meeting support and facilitation, drafting documents and reporting.
Implement and maintenance of planning and scheduling methodologies.
Support programme governance and ensure organisational tasks are carried out efficiently. Manage and monitor compliance of the project and programme
Manage potential risk areas, working with risk managers and escalating as appropriate. Support issue mitigation.
Skills & Experience:
You will have the following skills or proven experience:
A proven track record of delivering projects and initiatives
To be able to demonstrate strong planning and organising skills combined with the ability to balance conflicting and changing demands
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Ability to think creatively and able to work constructively in complex environments.
Experience of working in a changing environment, planning and collaborating effectively to manage workload and meet delivery deadlines.
