Responsible for managing, motivating and training the cell so they are working to the best of their ability and meeting the company expectations. Key Responsibilities: Operational Responsibilities Responsible for all mould checks prior to laminating and sign off Responsible for checking off first plies for allocated operatives. Responsible for checking off bags before loading into autoclave for allocated operatives. Responsible for ensuring all paperwork is completed by allocated operatives. Be present for the hand over, from Brackley of new parts allocated to your cell. Any issues arising from new jobs (kit, manual, hardware needed etc.) to be highlighted to laminating supervisor immediately. Roll out to rest of cell as and where appropriate training/information about these new parts. Assistance in Break-out in the morning when needed Record progress of jobs, on the department daily job sheet electronically. Quality and Standards Ensure they understand and implement the expected standards within the laminating department and can provide the support to the cell to ensure all the team achieve the standards. Ensure 100% plan adherence from laminating cell – ensure the job sheet is fully completed on a day-to-day basis. Quality – working to the highest standards of quality for all products – right first time, no scrap or reworks. Manage the day to day needs to the laminating cell – ensuring they are clear on expected standards. SKILLS: Experience of laminating in a production environment. Strong team player. An effectively team worker alongside the Laminating Supervisor .to provide the right guidance and support for his cell. Encouraging performance through the time and effort spent with individuals. Excellent process adherence – understanding the importance of process and that if followed the outcome will be right. Good people management skills. Committed and hard working. Working to the highest levels of performance.
