We’re looking for a Data Migration Analyst to join our team in Stourport-on-Severn. In this role, you’ll support the transformation and migration of data from systems like Sage 50, QuickBooks, Xero, and other legacy ERP platforms into our ERP software. Your work will make a real difference for small and medium businesses across the UK, helping them modernise and optimise their operations.
You’ll collaborate closely with customers throughout their implementation journey, ensuring smooth data migration and testing. Working alongside Project Leaders, Implementation Consultants, and Support teams, with the backing of a knowledgeable leadership team, you’ll become a data specialist in our software and customer processes. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly will help customers fully utilise their new system.
This role is dynamic and requires strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. You’ll work collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality implementations and build strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities…
* Deliver comprehensive and complex data migrations, accurately and in a timely manner
* Conduct data validation checks and quality assurance measures to ensure data accuracy and integrity before and after migration
* Document data migration processes and maintain records of completed migrations, issues encountered, and resolutions applied. Generate reports for stakeholders on migration status, outcomes, and any critical observations.
* Identify, analyse, and troubleshoot data migration issues, providing solutions and adjustments as needed to meet timescales
* Investigate and extract data from some outdated, legacy and DOS systems to import into OGL Software as well as integrating or extracting data via more modern API’s
* Enhance and refine current and new data migration processes to improve accuracy and efficiencies
* Provide guidance or mini-training sessions for customers on post-migration data handling and use of migrated data in their new system to support a smooth transition.
* Keep up to date with current and future data migration processes and legislation
* Identify project concerns & queries and work collaboratively with the Project Leader ensuring a swift resolution.
* Creation of new data migrations and ongoing maintenance of existing migrations
* Assist with establishing best practices, templates, policies, and tools
* Create, develop, and nurture strong and dynamic relationships with our customers.
* Develop a strong view of the service our customers receive, working with the rest of the team to provide a world-class customer experience
Essential Skills & Experience…
* Solid understanding of relational databases, with experience in data query and extraction tools (SQL & PostgreSQL preferred).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access, including Macro/VBA capabilities.
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple migration projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion while balancing customer needs and internal deadlines.
* Proven ability to simplify complex problems into manageable solutions.
Desirable Skills & Experience…
* Familiarity with business software such as Sage Line 50, SAP, Xero, or QuickBooks.
* Basic understanding of core business processes: purchasing, stock management, sales, invoicing, and accounts.
* Experience in document design using JavaScript and Jaspersoft.
* Working knowledge of data migration tools
