Product Manager - Data Centre Portfolio
Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of two days in Milton Keynes.
The Data Centre Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing the complete life-cycle of physical infrastructure products associated with data centres and IT infrastructure. This role covers strategic planning, market analysis, and product execution, aimed at driving profitability and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in managing products or components like cables and interconnects, with a strong understanding of the data centre ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
* Product Strategy and Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities in the data centre and IT infrastructure space, developing a product roadmap that aligns with global strategy.
* Product Life-cycle Management: Oversee the life-cycle of data centre-related products from concept through to market delivery, ensuring quality and cost optimization.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to launch products that align with both regional and global goals, ensuring market success.
* Financial Management: Manage budget allocations, optimise development and production costs, and create competitive pricing strategies for regional markets.
* Compliance and Standards: Ensure products meet international standards and certifications, facilitating smooth market entry.
* Continuous Improvement: Use performance metrics and customer feedback to refine and improve product offerings.
* Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track KPIs, such as revenue and market adoption rates, and report on product performance to stakeholders.

* Certifications in product management (e.g., Certified Product Manager) or agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) are preferred
