A leading law firm with offices in Newcastle are recruiting a Business Development Executive to support two London-based BD Managers across their Corporate, IP & Data Protection practice and Technology & Consumer Markets sectors.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with teams across their Global and EMEA Marketing & Business Development (MBD) network. You will gain exposure to high-profile business development and marketing initiatives, with strong support to develop your skills and industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with bids, pitches, presentations, and marketing content.
* Support BD Managers in developing business plans, campaigns, and budget proposals.
* Help coordinate client development, marketing, communications, events, and profile-raising activities.
* Build strong relationships with lawyers, partners, and other MBD teams.
* Manage and draft directory and award submissions.
* Maintain up-to-date marketing materials and track ROI on BD initiatives.
About You
* Graduate-level with a qualification in business, marketing, or communications (e.g., CIM).
* Experience in marketing and business development, ideally within legal, finance, or professional services.
* Excellent communication and writing skills with strong attention to detail.
* Highly organised, proactive, and confident in managing multiple tasks and stakeholders.
* Experience in bids or sales writing is desirable.
