Primary Teacher

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a more experienced educator, with a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) available for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, committed to creating and maintaining a thriving learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse abilities and aptitudes of pupils.
2. Assessment and Reporting: Assess, record, and report on pupil's development, progress, and attainment.
3. Classroom Management: Maintain a dynamic and inspiring learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and engagement.
4. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Possess an undergraduate degree relevant to primary education.
3. Have successful experience teaching the primary curriculum.
4. Demonstrate a good understanding of current theories and best practices in teaching and learning, particularly related to achieving high rates of progress for primary-aged children.
5. Exhibit strong subject knowledge of the core National Curriculum.
6. Understand child development and progression and how these impact planning.
7. Be skilled in effective strategies for managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
8. Have an understanding of equal opportunity issues and how they can be addressed in schools.
9. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
