Overview
The School Principal plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the educational institution, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for both students and staff. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various software applications, including Google Suite and QuickBooks, and possess excellent clerical skills.
Duties
* Oversee daily school operations, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations.
* Develop and implement school policies and procedures to enhance the educational experience.
* Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
* Facilitate communication between teachers, parents, and the community to promote student success.
* Maintain accurate records through data entry and effective use of computerised systems.
* Organise school events, meetings, and activities that support the school's mission.
* Ensure the effective management of the school's budget using financial software such as QuickBooks.
* Uphold a positive school climate that encourages student engagement and academic achievement.
Requirements
* Proven experience in an educational leadership role or relevant administrative position.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and other office software.
* Excellent clerical skills including typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks.
* Demonstrated phone etiquette when communicating with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups to foster an inclusive school environment.
