Our client, a globally recognised organisation providing investment and risk management services to a diverse range of clients, is looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing professional to oversee procurement activities.
This is a 6-month temporary assignment and presents an exciting opportunity to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate key contracts, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise vendor agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advise senior leadership on procurement strategies.
2. Develop and execute cost-effective sourcing plans.
3. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
4. Conduct market research to identify trends and risks.
5. Lead contract negotiations with IT service providers.
6. Implement cost-saving initiatives without quality compromise.
7. Assess supply chain risks and ensure business continuity.
8. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, and Technology teams.
9. Mentor junior team members.
Who We're Looking For:
1. 6-10+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management.
2. Experience working within financial services.
3. Strong knowledge of IT procurement trends and contract negotiation.
4. Experience in competitive bidding and supplier selection.
5. Skilled in contract negotiation with IT, SaaS, and telecom providers.
6. Expertise in financial modelling and data-driven decision-making.
7. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI-driven procurement tools.
9. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is a plus.
