Production Co-ordinator (Packaging) - Almac Pharma Services
CPL have partnered with ALMAC Group to recruit for a Production Co-ordinator to join their team on a temporary, on-going contract.
Pay Rate: £14.36 ph
Location: ALMAC Global Headquarters, Craigavon
Benefits: 34 days holiday per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday
Shift: Flexitime
OVERALL, ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The post holder will provide primary support to the production packaging department at Almac Pharma Services by contributing to GMP compliance and quality activities for the packaging of pharmaceutical products.
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Quality Management System (QMS):
1. Implement actions from QMS plans as directed by the Senior Production Support Officer.
2. Maintain all quality system indexes and electronic tracking systems e.g. WOLF.
2. Process Documentation:
1. Generate GMP documentation in the approved formats to support packaging operations.
2. Manage and distribute controlled documents, maintaining current effective versions in hard copy and electronically.
3. Ensure that all areas associated with Document Control storage/archive are tidy, presentable, and organised in a logical way.
4. Archive, retrieve and track GMP associated documentation.
5. Approve all new and updated Bills of Materials.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above in English Language and Maths
2. A-Level Qualification
3. Previous experience within a quality system or manufacturing environment
4. Proven ability to work effectively on own initiative as well as effectively contributing to the team environment
5. Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
6. Proficiency in use of IT applications e.g. (Word, Excel, Outlook)
7. Excellent attention to detail
8. Proven ability to plan and prioritise workload
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Level 5 Qualification
2. ECDL Qualification
3. Experience in a role within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment
4. Proven ability to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and associated work instructions
5. Working knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging
6. Good understanding of cGMP
7. Ability to design, assess & comment on new processes, including supporting documentation
8. Ability to understand technical processes & explain them
