Our client, a national leader in the retail sector are looking for a finance administrator to join their team at Carlisle Head Office. In this role you will oversee the day-to-day purchase order and order confirmation/ supply chain orders.
Job responsibilities
1. Enter purchase orders on the system and amending Purchase orders for revision of delivery dates etc. on the system.
2. Dealing with day to day purchase/ hire order numbers.
3. Keep spreadsheet of purchase order values up to date for all main vendors.
4. Issue confirmation of order placements to suppliers.
5. Communication and provision of supply chain visibility through verbal and written communication.
6. Management of relevant critical path stages ensuring the system is kept up to date.
7. General Administration tasks.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
8. Experience within a similar role, purchase order/ administration would be beneficial.
9. Strong Excel/ Word skills.
10. Drive for progression, this role will look to develop the successful candidate.
11. Strong organisation & communication skills.
12. High degree of punctuality, ensuring all details are organised and updated regularly.
