Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: Northampton
Salary: £90 - £95 per day
Contract: Full-time, temporary to permanent
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role: As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with a range of SEN requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff.
* Supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to facilitate their learning and development.
* Promoting inclusion and ensuring all students have equal access to educational opportunities.
* Collaborating effectively with teaching personnel and external professionals involved in SEN support.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
* A patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of SEN students.
