FinTech RS are currently supporting our client to find a Business Development/ Sales Manager with IT experience to join their growing team in Aberdeen. Our client is looking for someone with previous experience working in Sales/ Business Development within the IT industry to transfer their skills and knowledge into their business.
Key responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Sales Strategy:
* Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the IT sector through market research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and targets
* Engage with decision-makers to present solutions, and create customized proposals to address client needs
Client Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by providing exceptional service and solutions
* Understand client requirements and offer IT products and services that drive value for their business
* Manage key accounts and ensure ongoing satisfaction with delivered services
Sales Process Management:
* Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring sales targets are met
* Coordinate with technical teams and product managers to tailor solutions and ensure successful delivery
* Maintain detailed records of sales activities, opportunities, and outcomes in the CRM system
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
* Work closely with the marketing, product, and technical teams to align business development strategies and client needs
Key requirements for this role:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the IT industry
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business within a technology or IT services environment
Experience with CRM tools and sales automation platforms
Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to engage with all stakeholders from C-suite executives to senior decision-makers in a consultative sales approach
