Pembrokeshire County Council's Youth Justice Team is a dynamic multi-agency partnership focused on reducing and preventing youth offending. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Case Manager to join our team and support young people involved in the Youth Justice System.
In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload, including prevention work, out-of-court interventions, community sentences, custodial disposals, and remand management. You will undertake assessments using the Asset+ framework, implement National Standards, and work collaboratively with partner agencies to address the needs and risks associated with each young person. The role also involves representing the team in Magistrates Courts and contributing to a duty system.
To be successful, you must hold a relevant professional qualification (e.g., Social Work, Youth Work, Probation) and have knowledge of child care and criminal justice legislation. Experience in the youth justice sector is desirable, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems like ChildView. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
Join our supportive and forward-thinking team, where you will have opportunities for professional development and the chance to make a positive impact on young people's lives.
