* Salary:
Saturday & Sunday Overnight: £17.14
Weekend Daytime/Evening & Friday Overnight: £15.50
Weekday Overnight: £15.50
Weekday Evening: £14.90
Weekday Daytime: £14.53
As a Shift Supervisor, you will cover a variety of shifts, including day, evening, and overnight. We are open to discussing options that help maintain a healthy work-life balance. You’ll also have the flexibility to influence your overall salary—working more higher-rate shifts can boost your earnings, while you can also opt for more sociable hours or create a blend that suits your lifestyle.
* Benefits: Up to three discretionary bonuses
* Hours: Part-time over a 4-week rota. Regular scheduled shifts including day, evening, and overnight. Additional ad-hoc hours available.
* Location: Marksbury Road Surgery, various Out of Hours bases, and BrisDoc’s Headquarters for training and meetings.

Role Overview
As an IUC Shift Supervisor (Variable Shifts), you will ensure the smooth operation of shifts, maintaining effective patient care according to our high standards. This role involves supervising shifts across day, evening, and overnight periods, with a regular, scheduled shift pattern that will be communicated in advance. This role involves supervising the shift to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Supervision:
* Oversee patient advice, treatment centres, and our mobile fleet.
* Ensure timely appointments and home visits.
* Communicate with NHS 111 to balance demand and capacity.
* Uphold standard operating procedures for consistent service delivery.
* Produce clear and concise shift reports.
Call Handling:
* Manage professional and patient call lines, ensuring high service standards.
* Accurately log referrals onto patient databases.
Resource Management:
* Deploy resources strategically for optimal service throughout your shift.
* Address staffing issues promptly and support Clinical Coordinators.
Risk Management:
* Respond to healthcare system risks.
* Implement business continuity plans as needed.

SevernSide IUC operates 24/7, providing urgent NHS primary care. It includes out-of-hours GP services, NHS111, and admission avoidance through the Week Day Professional Line, playing a crucial role in the BNSSG ‘System Clinical Assessment Service’.
