You are encouraged to be in the office most of the time, as we believe this dynamic environment is the best place to learn, network and have fun whilst being an early careers professional. Part of being an apprentice at Siemens means you get to work on real life projects whilst also being supported. During this apprenticeship you will work towards an HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering before earning your degree which is a BEng (Hons) in Automation & Control - A unique top-up degree solution delivered in conjunction with the University of Salford that includes our own Siemens Certified PLC Programmer Accreditation. Your role will include: Leading a safety culture and ensuring compliance with documentation and quality control processes. Ensuring projects comply with regulatory requirements. Developing and maintaining technical knowledge. Providing specialist technical input and leadership. Planning, organising, and managing resources to meet project outcomes. Leading control system engineering projects to schedule performance, and budget. Developing effective working relationships with stakeholders. Leading problem-solving activities and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensuring project documentation meets compliance and traceability requirements. Producing technical reports and documentation. Sharing good practices and collaborating on technology solutions. What do I need to apply? You will have achieved or on track to achieve 3 A-levels at grade A-C or a BTEC Level 3 certificate in a related subject area at Grade DDM. A British Sign Language (BSL) qualification is an alternative to the English qualification for those whose primary language is BSL. If you haven't achieved level 2 English and maths, you will need to achieve this prior to taking the End-Point Assessment during this apprenticeship. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement, the apprenticeship's English and maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3. FOR DEGREE APPRENTICESHIPS: The entry requirement for this apprenticeship is a minimum of 104-112 UCAS points therefore you must be on track to achieve or have already achieved this to be accepted onto our apprenticeship scheme.
