To assemble, test, and inspect products in line with production requirements.
Duties may include:
1. Assembly/manufacture of components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies of production and/or development products.
2. Supporting the introduction of new products into manufacture.
3. Inspection and testing of products, including operation of automatic test equipment.
4. Responsibility for self-inspection, requiring high levels of accuracy and quality of work.
5. Welding, brazing, coil winding, encapsulation, soldering, and machine operation.
Skills and Experience:
No formal qualifications are necessary, but applicants must possess basic numerical and literacy skills.
Must meet stringent visual acuity standards, including color blindness and depth perception.
Must have previous experience within a similar assembly environment and proven mechanical or electrical skills. A high level of accuracy and quality of work is essential due to the responsibility for self-inspection.
