Job overview
We are looking for suitably qualified nurses to join our proactive team. Equally, if you are a newly qualified nurse who would like a career in acute nursing but are worried that it may be too early in your career, we are also happy to ensure you can work on the ward and support would be provided to ensure you flourish.
We have a dedicated Education Facilitator who ensures that all staff are trained and equipped to work within the ever-changing ward environment. Newly qualified nurses will have a 12-month preceptorship with one of our experienced staff.
We require excellent nurses who want exciting, challenging roles to deliver first-class high-quality patient care. We are a 26 bedded ward which includes a 4 bedded Coronary Care Unit. Each Staff Nurse will get an opportunity for rotation to our CCU. All training will be provided.
An Enhanced DBS Certificate with the checking of the Children’s and Adults’ Barred Lists is required for this post.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with current NMC Registration (RGN).
* Teaching and Assessing Qualification/Training, or equivalent.
* Post-Registration Qualification in Critical Care.
* ALS/ILS Qualification.
Knowledge & Experience
* Knowledge of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Procedures.
* Knowledge of clinical skills required to undertake the role.
* Knowledge of current professional and clinical issues.
* Knowledge and understanding of how audit may influence quality of patient care.
* Evidence of quality improvement in patient care.
* Substantial post registration experience in an Acute Hospital.
* Experience in Critical Care Nursing.
