Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? A fantastic Mainstream Primary School in Oxford is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with children who have Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), and other learning challenges.
The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant (Oxford)
Providing 1:1 and small group support to SEN students in the classroom
Helping children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Global Development Delay reach their full potential
Assisting teachers in implementing tailored learning plans and classroom activities
Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
Encouraging independence and confidence in learningWhat We're Looking For:
Experience working with SEN children (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or related needs)
A Level 3 qualification or relevant degree is desirable
GCSEs in Maths & English (C or above) required
Patience, resilience, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs
