BPAS is an independent healthcare charity that has been advocating and caring for women and couples for over 55 years, supporting over 100,000 women annually across more than 50 healthcare clinics nationwide.
Following significant organisational change and the establishment of a new Executive Leadership structure, we are looking for a Head of Employee Engagement & Communications to join the Senior Operational Team.
As the Head of Employee Engagement & Communications, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a motivated, informed, and connected workforce. You will provide strategic oversight to our internal communication, engagement, and Equity, Inclusion & Belonging strategies. Your leadership will ensure clear and consistent messaging across the organisation, helping employees feel informed, engaged, and valued, while driving a cohesive and collaborative work environment.
Ata time of transformative change, this role will provide a key leadership voice,supporting and enabling cultural change and inspiring staff.
Working from home with travel required to our Head Office in Leamington Spa and BPAS units when required. This is for 36 hours per week over Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
1. Lead and manage the Employee Engagment & Communications team
2. Developteam experience and expertise in Engagement & Comms, ensuring ongoingindividual and team development
3. Deliver a comprehensive employee engagement & communication strategy aligned with organisational goals
4. Collaborate with senior leadership and HR colleaguesto align engagement plans and
5. Provide oversight to the delivery of the annual PeopleSurvey cycle
6. Designand execute a comprehensive EDI&B strategy that aligns with BPASs culture and values
7. Develop and evaluate high quality engagement andcommunication campaigns which support strategic objectives
About You
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a degree in a relevant field such as HR, Organisational Development, Marketing or Communications, or with substantial proven experience. You will have significant experience in a senior HR or People Engagement rolewhere you have successfully supported cultural change by selecting and implementing appropriate employee engagement methods, tools, and approaches. Additionally, you are adept at integrating and utilising internal communications to achieve strategic employee engagement aims across a multi-site environment.

10. Exceptional communication skills, coupled with the ability to influence and build credibility with Senior Leaders

Further Information:
Location: Hybrid - home working with travel required to Head Office in Leamington Spa and other BPAS units as required.
Salary: Approximate £65,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
Hours: 36 per week Monday to Friday
On call
Allmembers of the Senior Operating Team will be required to participate in anon-call rota. The On-Call policy and procedure is being reviewed and revised,however it is envisaged that participation will involve being available toreceive emergency / on-call telephone calls up to 9pm Monday to Friday and onSaturdays and Sundays approximately 4 times per year.
