About the role:
Connex Education are working with various SEND Schools in Warrington who are seeking support workers interested in working as a SEND Teaching Assistant (TA).
About the School:
The schools we work with cater for pupils aged between 2 and 19 with a range of needs including Autism, SEMH, SLD, and PMLD. The role of a SEND TA will include supporting pupils both academically and emotionally as well as promoting life skills. You will work as a team with the class teacher and other TAs to help create an engaging learning environment.
We have a range of roles available including day-to-day, part-time, and full-time positions. The hours are usually Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM. There is a chance of a direct contract with a school.

Person specification:
* Experience of supporting pupils with SEND either in a school or residential setting as a support worker.
* Willingness to provide personal care.
* Confident in dealing with challenging behaviour.
* Able to build relationships with staff and pupils.
* Able to provide a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one.
