The Business Development representative is responsible for coordinating sales growth and sales strategy in Europe/Africa to achieve increased annual sales and gross margins as per Reactive strategic objectives. Position Objective: Responsible for developing and coordinating sales growth and sales strategy in UK/SCAN/EUR/SSA to achieve increased annual sales and gross margins as per Reactive Strategic Objectives. Core Responsibilities: Develop and Implement a sales strategy & revenue plan for the region in conjunction with Manager Develop & maintain a portfolio of customers and provide data to Manager and sales/support team Liaise with other Reactive sales offices to ensure our joint sales and margins are maximized Identify new customers, product requirements and markets to increase current product line sales (Reflex, Chimera) Identify new products or technical opportunities that will become new Reactive product lines Develop sales and marketing strategy to maximise Reactive sales Ensure smooth interaction of sales team with other Reactive departments Prepare a quarterly management report w/ Manager presenting the KPIs Strategic Plan and Comparative Performance Liaise with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices Advise on marketing and exhibitions to ensure sales team maximise Reactive sales impact The maintenance of, adherence to, and improvement of the Reactive quality systems and procedures, including by not restricted to continual ISO 9001/API Q1 compliance Support all Reactive functions and personnel in the timely and effective delivery of all business goals and objectives Support, encourage and implement a ‘let’s make it happen’ culture Foster an open and involving approach with all Reactive employees. Encourage and develop team to support delivery of all business goals and objectives Lead by example and always demonstrate role model traits Undertake tasks as requested by Manager Requirements People skills Can Do Attitude Educated to degree level in an Engineering or Science discipline or has gained proven practical experience which equates to this level qualification Strong customer orientation with an ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into a sale Previous experience in Technical/Sales Team Management role Previous experience of Oilfield Sales Computer literate with excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills to maintain systems, processes, history and to recognize and implement any potential improvements
