Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join the talented team at Grantham District Hospital supporting the Emergency Department/ UTC team. The post-holder will provide a high quality shop floor clinical presence, together with high standards of education, training, research and audit. The post holder will work in close co-operation with nursing, managerial and medical colleagues to provide high quality healthcare to the Trusts patients. Main duties of the job To see patients attending the Department, making primary diagnosis and initiating emergency treatment. This will be at middle-grade level (Senior Decision-Maker) within the department. The Specialty Doctor is expected to work a basic standard of 11.53 programmed activities (PAs) clinical shop floor cover and 1 PA for CPD. A further 0.5PA for attendance at meetings and teaching events.
