Drive the stability and security of our Trust's IT infrastructure as a key Systems Analyst!
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Systems Analyst to join our IT Services team. You'll be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and robust security of our network and server systems, supporting our staff and students. This role requires a strong technical foundation, analytical expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse, monitor, and optimise Trust infrastructure and security using tools like PRTG, Darktrace, and others.
Manage and administer network hardware (Silverpeak, Ruckus, Juniper, HP/Aruba), HyperV environments, Veeam backups, and telephony systems.
Coordinate and implement patch management strategies for Windows servers and clients.
Contribute to infrastructure projects and provide technical support to the wider team.
Document systems and procedures, and provide recommendations for improvements.
Essential Skills & Experience:
In-depth knowledge of networking, HyperV, telephony, cybersecurity, GSuite, and Windows OS.
Proven ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security principles.
Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
The working basis of the role is 37 hours per week throughout the full year offering a salary of £31,194.
