Outdoor Vocational Studies Teacher – Exmouth Area
Teaching Personnel is working with a specialist provision in the Exmouth area to recruit an enthusiastic and practical Outdoor Vocational Studies Teacher. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for someone with a passion for hands-on learning, outdoor education, and supporting young people who thrive outside of a traditional classroom environment.
About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and practical vocational sessions such as horticulture, land-based studies, bushcraft, construction, or outdoor skills.
* Support students with a range of additional needs including SEMH and SEND.
* Promote personal development, teamwork, and resilience through experiential outdoor learning.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with young people who may have barriers to learning.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in vocational or outdoor education (e.g. Forest School, land-based learning, DofE).
* Confident leading small groups in practical, outdoor settings.
* Patient, adaptable and able to manage behaviour positively.
* Teaching qualifications are beneficial but not essential for the right candidate with relevant experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
