Salary: £45k – £60k basic plus commission, car allowance, and exceptional benefits

Our client is an innovative fast-growing lender with an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to join their sales team to help carve out a market-leading position in the Asset Finance Industry.
Successful applicants will be responsible for developing relationships with vendors and dealers as well as finding business for our hard asset team. You will need to be a self-motivated individual who is expected to exceed an annual sales target and build relationships with dealers, customers, and other key industry contacts.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Presenting products to clients – This is a customer-facing role, so you will spend most of your time in the field seeing customers with the option to work from home where appropriate.
* Develop new business relationships and manage existing client portfolios.
* Compile credit write-ups, assess a proposal’s risk to the business, and negotiate approvals with underwriters.
* Manage your diary, generate appointments, and attend trade shows and networking events.
* Work with the sales support team to complete documentation and ensure it is completed to the required standard.
* Develop sector knowledge to talk knowledgeably to customers and suppliers.
* Meet all FCA and regulatory requirements.
Skills Required:
* Knowledge of the SME market

* Full UK driver’s licence
Experience:
* 2+ years’ experience in Asset Finance sales
Knowledge:
* Good working knowledge of Risk Assessments and understanding of accounts; training will be provided.
* An understanding of Construction, Manufacturing, or materials handling sectors; training will be provided.
