Due to continued growth, they have an opportunity for a Machine Setter to join their existing manufacturing team, to ensure the machines function correctly and efficiently, allowing the businesses to meet their production goals and quality standards. What’s in it for you: £24,635 per annum rising to £26,819 after training Permanent Shift rotating days and nights- 4 on 4 off across 7 days (7am/7pm & 7pm-7am) 24 days holiday Healthcare Plan Death in Service The main purpose of the role will include: Setting up machines: configure machines according to specific requirements, adjust machine parameters, change tooling, forming, speed and feed adjustments. Operating machines: Closely monitor the machines to maintain efficiency and quality. resolve any issues to help meet production targets. Performing routine maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating. Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Resolve issues when machines malfunction or product quality is substandard Quality control: Conduct quality control checks, measuring, testing and visually inspecting products to ensure they meet required specifications. Record keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of machine settings, production runs, maintenance tasks and any issues encountered during manufacturing. Health & Safety: Ensure the machine is compliant with safe operating procedures. What you will bring to the role: Experience in setting machines /production lines and tool changeovers. Ability to troubleshoot any issues regarding machine runs and quality issues. Sharing of knowledge to enhance machine operators' skills and knowledge.
