Role: IT Services Manager

Location: Southampton, Hybrid working - 3 days a week office attendance
An IT Services Manager is required to be responsible for the development and management of the organisation’s IT equipment and its supporting infrastructure.
Key Requirements:
* Microsoft Intune – Endpoint management and device security.
* On-Premises Storage – Experience managing local storage solutions.
* Firewall Management – Configuration, monitoring, and security enforcement.
* Cybersecurity Knowledge – Understanding of security protocols, risk management, and compliance.
* RUBUS – Familiarity with RUBUS software or equivalent cybersecurity tools.
Key Accountabilities:
Network Administration:
Management of servers, switches, storage, UPS, printers, and disaster recovery backups. Administration of video conferencing equipment, internet provision, routers, and VPN services.
Cybersecurity Leadership:
Firewall management, security updates, antivirus deployment, and laptop encryption. Overseeing email security monitoring and maintaining security accreditations, including organising penetration testing.
First-Line IT Support:
Acting as the primary point of contact for IT support within the Branch. Providing timely technical assistance for troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Supporting users with IT-related inquiries in collaboration with four Technical Department staff members.
Microsoft Systems Administration:
Managing Microsoft applications, including Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics, Azure, and Power BI. Overseeing licensing and system administration of Microsoft services.
Branch Case Management System Administration:
Managing user access, administration, and development of the 'COMPASS' Case Management System. Supporting integrations with SharePoint storage and Power BI analytics.
IT Procurement & Contract Management:
Identifying and procuring IT-related goods and services. Ensuring compliance with budget constraints, procurement policies, and contractual obligations.
